SageTree Sacred Knowledge Scholarship
AAssalamulaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu!
We are honored to announce that Young Muslims Florida (YM) and the Muslim Student Associations (MSA) of South Florida are collaborating with SageTree Foundation to announce our first annual Islamic Studies Scholarship!
The scholarship is open for brothers or sisters in South Florida who are passionate about studying Islam and are willing to take the next step by studying at an institution for one year to jumpstart their journey of seeking sacred knowledge.
The scholarship covers tuition and living costs for the 2024-2025 academic year at one of the following institutions:
Qalam Seminary, Dallas, TX (Application is closing April 21st, 2024)
Darussalam Seminary, Chicago, IL
Darul Qasim College, Chicago, IL.

This scholarship is open to brothers and sisters that meet the following criteria.
- A resident of the tri-county area in South Florida
- At least 18 years of age
- Completed or will be completing high school by Summer 2024
- Willing to study Islam full-time in person at an institution, in-person, for one academic year, while dedicating an utmost effort
- Willing to come back after studies to serve the community
- Have Basic Proficiency in Arabic (Can read Quran)
- Have permission from parents/guardian to travel for study for one year
Application deadline is May 10th, 2024 for the scholarship.
Please fill out the questions on the application to the best of your ability as the best applicants will be chosen for an interview shortly after the application deadline InshaAllah.
